Safety, Product Disclosure & Decorative Use Notice

All products offered by Tinas Characters are custom decorative fondant creations made for display and presentation purposes only. These items are specially crafted artistic pieces designed to enhance the appearance of cakes and dessert displays. They are not intended for consumption. By purchasing, accepting, or using any product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this notice.

Decorative Use Only
Although some exterior portions may include fondant or other food-based materials, the finished product as a whole is a decorative item and must not be treated as edible. All custom figures, toppers, and decorative structures are intended strictly as visual display pieces. Do not eat, chew, bite, or allow others to consume any portion of these items.

Non-Edible Internal Components
To achieve stability, structure, and design integrity, products may contain non-edible internal materials including support rods, wires, sticks, skewers, dowels, picks, floral tape, foam inserts, reinforcement elements, and other hidden stabilization components. These materials may be embedded, partially concealed, or fully enclosed within the design. Because of these internal materials, the product is not edible and is not safe for consumption.

Safety Warning
Choking hazard. Products may contain small detachable parts, pointed or rigid supports, hidden non-edible materials, and firm structural components. These items may present a choking or injury risk if swallowed, bitten, chewed, mishandled, or given to children. Keep away from infants, young children, and pets. Adult supervision is strongly recommended whenever decorative figures or toppers are displayed near food service areas, dessert tables, or event settings.

Removal Before Serving
If a decorative item is placed on or near a cake, dessert, or other food item, the customer is solely responsible for ensuring all decorative pieces are removed before serving, all support structures are removed before cutting or consuming any cake, guests are informed that the item is decorative and not edible, and no hidden internal materials remain in or near any food being served. Tinas Characters is not responsible for injuries, damage, or misuse resulting from failure to remove decorative pieces or internal components before serving.

Handling & Care
All items should be handled with care. Keep upright and stable during transport and display, avoid excessive heat, direct sunlight, and moisture, and do not bend, force, or attempt to dismantle the item without care. Avoid placing the item where it may be pulled, dropped, or mishandled. Store away from children and pets until use. Because these products are handmade and may include delicate structures, breakage can occur if mishandled after delivery or pickup.

Custom Handmade Nature
Each product is individually handcrafted. No two items will be identical, and slight variations in color, shape, size, placement, and finish may occur. Small imperfections are part of the handmade process, and final products may vary slightly from reference images, mockups, or inspiration photos. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the artistic nature of the product.

Image Submission & Design Requests
Customers may submit images, inspiration photos, themes, or concepts for reference. By submitting any image, you confirm that you have the right to use the material and that it does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights. Tinas Characters reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or modify any request that violates these standards.

No Guarantee of Edibility or Food Suitability
Even where fondant or food-based materials are used, no product is guaranteed to be edible. The presence of food-based materials does not mean the product is safe to consume. All products should be treated as non-edible decorative pieces unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

Allergy & Ingredient Considerations
Products may be created in environments where common allergens are present, including wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and others. No guarantee of allergen-free products is provided. Customers are responsible for informing guests and recipients of any allergy concerns.

Shipping, Transit & Delivery
Orders are packaged with care, but once shipped, external factors such as carrier handling, delays, temperature exposure, movement, and weather conditions may affect the product. Tinas Characters is not responsible for damage, breakage, or changes that occur during or after shipping. Customers should inspect items upon arrival and follow handling guidance.

Pickup, Possession & Responsibility
Once a product has been picked up or delivered, all responsibility transfers to the customer. This includes proper handling, storage, supervision, removal before serving, and ensuring the product is not consumed.

Event Use & Third-Party Handling
Tinas Characters is not responsible for any damage, injury, or misuse caused by venues, planners, caterers, or other third parties after delivery. Customers are responsible for communicating all safety instructions.

Limitation of Liability
Tinas Characters is not liable for any injury, choking, illness, allergic reaction, damage, or loss resulting from consumption or attempted consumption, failure to remove internal supports, improper handling, lack of supervision, misuse, or misunderstanding of the product’s decorative purpose. Use of the product is entirely at the customer’s own risk.

No Medical or Safety Guarantee
Tinas Characters provides decorative products only and does not offer medical, allergen, or safety guarantees. Customers are responsible for determining suitability for their specific use or event.

Right to Refuse Service
Orders may be refused, canceled, or modified at any time for reasons including safety concerns, intellectual property issues, unrealistic timelines, or incomplete information.

Customer Acknowledgment
By placing an order, you acknowledge that the product is decorative only, not edible, may contain hidden non-food materials, must be removed before serving, may present a choking hazard, and that you assume full responsibility for proper use and handling.
